The Oracle Residential Tower is located on a quarter-circle-shaped site that acts like an island positioned between a main road and the entrance square of Mahmoudabad. This unique geometry maximizes the site’s interface with the urban fabric (extending 104 meters), placing the building like a pavilion at the heart of an urban plaza.

The site’s proximity to both a major square and a highway offers exceptional opportunities for visibility and exposure. However, the potential for unregulated and unpredictable developments on adjacent plots poses a threat to the project’s valuable current vistas. In the near future, the sea and rice field views may be reduced to isolated glimpses framed between other buildings.

To address this, the design strategy prioritizes maximizing the presence of surrounding natural views within the interior spaces—mitigating the effects of future construction and minimizing dependence on today’s temporary sightlines for spatial quality.

The residential component of the project is organized around a central core, with two distinct block types—Type A (+) and Type B (×)—rotated 45 degrees in relation to one another. Each block consists of two floors, with four residential units per floor. The interlocking arrangement of these block types generates deep, single- and double-height terraces.

Each residential unit incorporates a terrace into its core, around which both public and private spaces are organized. This configuration enables the natural landscape to visually penetrate deep into the structure. The L-shaped layout of the units ensures that at least three units per floor enjoy direct sea views.
